I like girls. I also like boys. Both are pretty damn delicious.
Fundies like to say I'm not supposed to like girls, that "I made a bad choice". Well priests aren't supposed to molest little boys, but that doesn't stop them does it?

I'm bisexual and not just the "Oh I'm being so hardcore by kissing girls. I'm speshul lol". kind of bisexual. I actually have romantic and sexual feelings towards my own gender, and the opposite gender.
I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I have a lot of pride, this is who I am, I am as the Goddess made me, I'm different. But a lot of shame comes with this difference. When I'm in a monogamous relationship, I battle my desires to be with women, knowing that if I gave it, it would be cheating. It wouldn't be fair for me to be having sex with other women, while Scott doesn't get to be with anyone at all. There are girls who don't want to be around me because they're afraid I'll hit on them, afraid I'm constantly checking them out (Don't flatter yourself, I have a type and you are not it). Parents don't want me around their daughters. There's the stereotyping. "Bisexuals are promiscuous. Bisexuals are confused. They can't decide. They're faking it"
I'm not confused about my sexuality, just about everyone's reactions to it. You tell a straight guy you're bisexual and he thinks of threesomes, of Angelina Jolie making out with a blond in the shower, he thinks you'll be good in the sack. There's all these expectations of you.
I'm bisexual, and I've only dated one girl. It didn't last very long, and nothing really happened. I've never been physically intimate with a woman and I've only been really close with one man.

I'm tired of being to gay for the straight crowd and too straight for the gay crowd. But at least the gay crowd understands these feelings of isolation and shame. And they don't have fundies telling me "I made a bad choice" I didn't choose to be this way. It just happened. Would I change it if I could? That's the question to ask? Are the bad feelings worth it for the good ones?
Yes. Yes they are. Because chicks are hot. And so are boys.
